Gemini Edibles & Fats India (GEF India) is looking at revenue growth of 25% in FY25. While its turnover stood at Rs 9,000 crore in 2023-24, the company aims to increase it to Rs 12,000 crore during the current fiscal.
P Chandra Shekhara Reddy, Senior Vice President – sales & marketing, GEF India said, the company is entering into new markets such as Tamil Nadu.
"About three million metric tonnes of sunflower oil is consumed in India annually. Of this, southern states account for 50%," he said. Noting that the Hyderabad-based firm is the leading sunflower oil company with a market share of 21.7% in the segment in the country, he said, "We have the largest capacity to process 2,000 metric tonnes of sunflower oil every day."
On Thursday, GEF India forayed into Tamil Nadu and launched a new brand named Be-Rite, which is its fourth brand.
