India is set to launch a pilot project to make sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) available at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.
In technical terms, SAF refers to renewable or waste-derived jet fuel that meets sustainability criteria.
Recently, Indian Oil Corporation received certification to produce SAF at its Panipat refinery.
