The Mahindra Group has incorporated Steer Hybren Private Limited as a wholly owned subsidiary of Mahindra Susten Private Limited.
Established on November 29, 2024 in Mumbai, the new entity is set to expand the group’s footprint in renewable energy solutions.
Steer Hybren will focus on producing and distributing power as an Independent Power Producer (IPP). Its scope includes rooftop solar installations for commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential sectors, along with energy storage systems and other renewable energy sources.
The initial paid-up capital of ₹15 lakh comprises 1,50,000 equity shares fully subscribed by Mahindra Susten. With Steer Hybren, Mahindra aims to tap into the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions across multiple sectors.
