Spanish energy company Moeve is ready to take a final investment decision (FID) on the first 400MW phase of its 2GW Andalusia Green Hydrogen Valley project, a senior company executive told the World Hydrogen Summit yesterday.
Carlos Barrasa, executive vice-president of commercial and clean energies, told the conference that the only issue holding up an FID at the moment is the grid connection.
In January, CEO Maarten Wetselaar had told a conference in Madrid that the first 400MW phase in Huelva would begin construction “in a matter of months”, following an FID “before the summer”.
