NEW DELHI: (Sep 25) Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu on Thursday highlighted steps being taken by India for promoting sustainable aviation fuel and efforts to make the civil aviation sector more gender inclusive with increased women participation.
At the 42nd General Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Montreal, Canada, the minister also discussed the prospects for India's leadership in global aviation and in the ICAO Council and amongst all countries with whom it can share the technical and skilling expertise.
He met ICAO Council President Salvatore Sciacchitano and Secretary General Juan Carlos Salaza, among others.
