Charbone Hydrogen welcomes Air Liquide veteran for revenue goals

Charbone Hydrogen Corporation recognized as North America's sole publicly traded pure-play green hydrogen company, is thrilled to announce a significant enhancement to its industrial gases operations team as it gears up for production at its flagship facility in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec.

Bolstering Field Operations with New Leadership

The company is delighted to introduce Patrick Cuddihy, a highly experienced operations leader with more than two decades at Air Liquide Canada, as a new member of its hydrogen operations team. Patrick brings extensive expertise in overseeing industrial gas production and distribution, having previously held several senior positions, including Network Sales Director for the Quebec Region, General Manager for the Pacific Region, Director of Procurement Services, and Director of Logistics and Assets for the Eastern Region.

His substantial operational experience will be crucial as CHARBONE advances its initial project deployment to full-scale production. In collaboration with CHARBONE's executive team, Patrick will play a vital role in managing and supporting green hydrogen production projects across both the U.S. and Canada. This strategic appointment reflects CHARBONE's commitment to strengthening its operational capabilities and driving the growth of its green hydrogen initiatives.

"Patrick's vast background in industrial gases, especially in operations and supply chain management, will greatly enhance our team as we transition from the planning phase to implementation," stated Dave Gagnon, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Charbone Hydrogen. "As we approach the generation of our initial revenues, our focus remains on boosting shareholder value through efficient operations and strategic growth."

Expanding Operations and Workforce

CHARBONE is set to begin its green hydrogen production later this year at its facility in Sorel-Tracy, with plans for a second location near Detroit, Michigan, to be operational by the end of 2024. In line with its broader growth strategy, the company is also expanding its workforce and exploring new market opportunities in crucial areas such as New York, Ontario, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Wisconsin, and California.

Moreover, CHARBONE has received invitations to take part in two significant Requests for Information (RFIs), underscoring the rising demand for green hydrogen solutions. The company aims to operate a total of 16 green hydrogen production facilities across North America by 2030.

CHARBONE is an integrated green hydrogen enterprise dedicated to establishing a network of modular production facilities throughout North America. CHARBONE utilizes renewable energy to produce eco-friendly dihydrogen (H2) for a range of users, including industrial, institutional, commercial, and future mobility sectors. It is currently the only publicly traded pure-play green hydrogen company, positioning itself uniquely in the market.
