Chinese utility Jilin Electric Power has announced yesterday (Thursday) that its green hydrogen and ammonia project in Da’an is ready for full production.
The project, located in the northeastern province of Jilin, is expected to produce 32,000 tonnes of green H2 and 180,000 tonnes of green ammonia per year once it is in full production. It did not mention when it will begin production.
The announcement came after Jilin Electric Power tested the first PEM electrolyser for the project at a rate of 9,600 Nm³/h, demonstrating that it could operate between a 30 and 100% range, according to local Chinese news reports.
