Oswal Receives Electrolyser from Greenzo for Hydrogen Project

Oswal Energies Ltd. received its first 1 MW electrolyser stack from Greenzo Energy India Ltd., initiating the rollout of its ₹320 crore green hydrogen project. The milestone signals the start of a 20 MW Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) deployment focused on delivering low-carbon hydrogen to industries such as chemicals and fertilisers. The project will commission modular green hydrogen plants over the next 12–18 months. These plants will range in size from 0.5 MW to 5 MW and will utilize Greenzo’s indigenously developed electrolyser technology.

Strategic Collaboration to Drive India’s Energy Transition

Ratan Bokadia, Managing Director of Oswal Energies, said, “This electrolyser delivery is more than a shipment—it’s the foundation of a national energy transformation. Our vision blends sustainability with self-reliance, and through this partnership with Greenzo, we’re empowering industries with low-carbon solutions.” The collaboration between Oswal and Greenzo marks a strategic alignment of EPC capabilities with advanced green manufacturing. This partnership lays the groundwork for a scalable green hydrogen infrastructure in India.

Greenzo Energy: Powering India’s Green Hydrogen Ecosystem

Greenzo Energy India Ltd., with an order book exceeding ₹1,800 crore, has rapidly positioned itself as a major player in India’s clean-tech ecosystem. The company supplies its high-efficiency electrolyser systems across India and the Middle East.

Sandeep Agarwal, Managing Director, Greenzo Energy, commented, “Our dispatch to Oswal Energies highlights the growing strength of India’s green manufacturing ecosystem. We are proud to support India’s energy goals with cost-effective, locally made hydrogen solutions.” Greenzo’s turnkey offerings—including Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) models—serve critical sectors such as chemicals, refineries, and mobility. These solutions support the decarbonization of industrial processes.

Paving the Way for India’s Hydrogen Economy

The delivery of the first electrolyser unit kickstarts Oswal’s ambitious green hydrogen project. It also signals growing confidence in India’s ability to build a self-reliant hydrogen ecosystem.

According to the press release, Oswal Energies and Greenzo Energy have built their partnership on indigenous technology and robust engineering execution. A growing market for green fuels further strengthens this collaboration. They are well-positioned to support India’s decarbonization roadmap. Together, they aim to establish the country as a leader in the global hydrogen value chain.
